Hi, Welcome to Umar's homepage on cricket and related subjects. I will tell you a little about myself. I have been playing cricket from the age of about 12, and straight away fell in love with the game. I have played for Nottinghamshire County Cricket at youth levels and the colts side, which is the third eleven. Currently i am playing semi-proffesional cricket for Clifton Cricket Club in Derbyshire, England. The captain of Clifton Crcket Club is Simon Moores and last year we achieved the task of being the league champions. We have some talented cricketers in the side that should have made to to the county circuit but were unable to due circumstances. some of these players include Kamran Afzaal, brother to Usman Afzaal currently playing for Nottinghamshire County cricket club, a good prospect for english cricket, Simon Moores who played second eleven cricket as a fast bowlers but was denied a contract due to politics within the club he was playing for, no clubs mentioned. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
